Welcome to Raven Lake!
The Raven Lake Cottagers' Association is excited to share our new website, including some members-only features. In particular, members who are logged into the site will have access to a member directory to help you connect with friends and neighbours.
We'll also be adding additional resources such as key contacts, service providers, and contractors that are recommended by your fellow members.
This new site will also make it much easier for you to renew your membership and update your personal information.
We'll be adding new features to the site over the course of 2018, so visit often. If you have any suggestions for content or would like to contribute to the site, please contact us.
Why should you join the RLCA?
All residents of Raven Lake are invited to join the Raven Lake Cottagers' Association.
Your property on Raven Lake represents a major investment. The Raven Lake Cottagers' Association (RLCA) works on your behalf to help protect property values and the quality of life we all enjoy at Raven Lake, now and in the future.
The annual membership fee is only $40.
Following is a list of some things the RLCA does:
Raven Lake sits on the border of the districts of Muskoka and Haliburton, just 3 kms south of the historic town of Dorset, Ontario. The western portion of the lake touches highway 35 in the Lake of Bays Township while most of the lake is in the Algonquin Highlands.
Raven lies near the top of the Black River watershed providing beautiful, clean water that the residents are committed to preserving. The lake has a maximum depth of about 41.8 m (137 feet) and a surface area of 520 hectares (1285 acres). The perimeter is some 36 km (22 miles) and roughly 70% of the shoreline is preserved as Crown land.READ MORE...
